Lima - Puerto Maldonado

Day 01. -- Lima
Arrival, reception at the airport and transfer to selected hotel.
In the afternoon, we will visit the modern and colonial city of Lima, seeing the Plaza Mayor, la Catedral, el Palacio de Gobierno, Iglesia de San Francisco and the Catacombs, later continuing to the residential zones of San Isidro and Miraflores and finishing the tour with an impressive view of the Pacific Ocean.

Day 02.- Lima – Puerto Maldonado
Breakfast. Transfer from the hotel to the airport. Arrival to Puerto Maldonado, reception at the airport and transfer in canoe to the harbour of Ecoamazonia Lodge.  Arrival, accomodation and lunch.  In the afternoon, we will visit the Isla Monkey where one is able to observe exuberante flora, which shelters a special variety of monkeys in their natural habitat like maquisapas, capuchinos, monos leoncitos, frailecillos,  along with other species of animales like the coatí, sloth and a great variety of birds. Later one will enjoy the sunset from the jungle.  Return to the habour and have dinner.

Day 03.- Puerto Maldonado
After breakfast an excursion to la Cocha Perdida, that constitutes an ecosystem of refuge and food for a immense variety of animales like otters, cayman, tortoises, sachavacas, birds and fish. This zone is unique, with immense and diverse swamps.  Later we will arrive at a viewpoint of the Amazon  constructed out of the very immense “Shihuahuaco” tree, from here one is able to appreciate the jungle, and also take a trip in canoe around the lake.  Return to the harbour. Have lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the platation of wild tress that form a botanical garden. Return to the harbour and have dinner.

Day 04.- Puerto Maldonado - Lima
After breakfast, transfer to the city and from here to the airport where we will take a flight to Lima.

Day 05.- : Lima –--
Breakfast and transfer to the airport in Lima to take your international flight.
